Hello ladies and gentleman, here in this section you will get to hear all the “Cheers” and the “Jeers” in Hollywood, in the theatres and on television. Think of me as your school rotten tomatoes, but I’m still thinking of a swanky/sexy name for my reviews but for now you will have to settle with the “Met Movie Scoops”. I will judge movies both as their presentation of the previews as well as the movies themselves, and sometimes I’ll slip a little gossip in my reviews for you (:
I’ll will be rating these by both percentages and my version of star ratings will be replaced by faces of cats, that’s right…I said it ….cats!
I’ll think of a name for this sooner or later I know it!
Please sit back, relax and think about what you are reading…. Is this Movie really worth it?
First piece is looking back on summer: here is 3 movies you may have heard of
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army
Ron Perlman- Selma Blair- Seth McFarlane- Luke Gross
My review: 79% C+
The movie was not as good as the first one. But I have to admit there are a lot of points in this movie that you just have to admire, like the cool effects of the army, and the elemental that attacks the city. The funniest point of the movie is when Abe and Hellboy get drunk and start singing the Barry Manalow song. The plot line was okay, there were a few moments in the first movie that seemed to flow off topic.
Now for the critical review, the movie seemed to have been dressed a little bit for the young ones. There was not too much blood which, in this movie you would think that there will be tons of animated blood, and the tooth fairies were a very bizarre component to this movie.
The Mummy 3; Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Let Li- Brenden Frasier
My rating: 23% F
Do you ever watch any of those movies where the commercials for the movie look better than the actual movie itself? Well Prepare top be disappointed as Steven Sommers screws the audience with a rip off from the original Mummy movies. You think that they would make money with a movie that looks interesting with a dragon and evil clay mummies, and then mess it up. I was really disappointed, the yetis were stupid and the dragon only had one short scene. Overall I’m sad that I had to waste my money on this movie.
The Dark Knight
Christian Bale- Heath Ledger- Maggie Gyllenhall- Aaron Eckhart- Morgan Freeman
My rating; 98% A
This movie was really a great blockbuster, great effects and outstanding performance from the late Heath Ledger, who played the schizophrenic Joker. There are a lot of cruel twists and well thought out plans in the movie. But there are some characteristics that seem to disappoint me…. During the movie there are parts where we don’t get to see the entire movie; we hear in the movie about the capture of Harvey Dent and his girlfriend but we don’t see it in action, only to where they are in the warehouse, and what happened to all the people at the party? They kind of cut the scene where Joker is supposed to have escaped or so.

A. you really need a better title like well anything. I honestly think and this came to mind in Five minutes so its a little lengthy but how about ” Swinging Sam’s Rockin Movie Reviews”. Its long but catchy.
B. I completely disagree with your review on The Mummy 3, it was much better than a 23% it deserve a C if not a B.
