Rant by Sammie Lawrence on Feb20 2009

Some people are right, some people are wrong, and some are just politically correct. Political Correctness (or PC for short) is nothing more that bigot acts to sensor both free speech and the bare naked truth. Now sure; there are things that we don’t want to say andĀ things that we don’t want to hear because it may hurt other peoples “feelings”, but now it is getting ridiculous with what is right and what is wrong to say. It is like an invisible taboo to be open and honest about ideas and new thoughts. How many of you have been stopped from saying something that would hurt someone’s feelings that happens to be true? Come now, don’t be shy, I know there are at least half of you that have been silenced at for saying something “taboo”. Don’t blame me for saying the truth to you even if you don’t want to hear it. I stick by what I read from a website “Unless plain speaking is allowed, clear thinking is denied. There can be no good reason for denying freedom of expression, there is no case to rebut, only the empty slogans of people inspired by selfishness and unrestrained by morality. The proponents of this nonsense neither understand the implications of what they say, nor why they are saying it: they are insane.” I bid you a due.

You have an eccentric outlook on the matter and I feel you make complete sense.
